Peregrine Literary Series:

On Sunday, January 17 at 3 PM, Brian Doyle will read for the Peregrine Literary Series on the occasion of William Stafford’s 102nd birthday.
Stafford was Oregon’s beloved Poet Laureate, prolific author and educator at Lewis and Clark College.
During the program, Doyle will discuss Stafford’s influence on his own writing. Brian Doyle is editor of the University of Portland’s award-winning magazine, Portland. Brian’s recent publications include The Plover, Martin Marten, Grace Notes, and Mink River, a Lake Oswego Reads selection.

Afterwards, the audience is invited to share a favorite poem about or by William Stafford.

The program is hosted by Joan Maiers, and is free and open to the public.
Donations of cash or canned goods are welcomed for the Food Bank.
